Politically, PM Najib made a big mistake in not selecting KJ.
Firstly, Najib has not shown that 'he is his own man' by kowtowing to DrM. He could have selected KJ & Mukhiz. Giving KJ some minor role would be a sign of disciplining the party. But alas.
In addition, this scenario within UMNO provides PKR/DAP/PAS parties with some interesting advantages.
